On routes it applies, I'd really like to filter for Express only.
You should add Everett Transit to your aggencies. I love your app! :)
If you don't have accurate time information for a route, please put up a message that you don't, and don't default to the "on-time" message. I've been trying to ride the 232 at approximately 6:00 PM for the last several days, and the service keeps telling me the bus is coming when, (according to Metro because I called to complain), it has been blowing through the stops early. It is VERY, very frustrating for my phone ...more »
New option "deselect all" when filtering by bus route in a stop. Alternatively, a "show only this route" option can be useful.
The new proposed option is intended to help filtering in highly-served bus stops by easily show one or few routes. Currently, users have to manually deselect each of the bus routes.
It would be cool if you could set an alarm reminder to go off a few minutes before a scheduled stop.
I experienced that if a bus is delayed past it's due time it is just dropped from the tracker. It's then hard to give accurate feedback about a very late bus.
Make it easier to locate bus stop numbers. The NB and SB stops in Redmond outside the OTC (for route 245) were really hard to find because they did not seem to want to display with the bus icon on the map in the phone app. So I had to search pretty deeply on onebusaway.org on my PC to find the rout maps, and therein I found that all stops are listed and was able to click on those two to get the numbers. This was a lot ...more »
Commute Riders - Unite! I think raising awareness amongst bus riders about the politics of public transportation is very important. King County recently rejected Prop. 1 that would have allowed funding to pay for transportation service costs. Riders especially, who depend on the bus as a mode of transportation, should be encouraged to make their voice heard at the ballot box with related news feed. Something to read...while ...more »
Larger fonts that can be read without my glasses for critical info would be helpful
I'm not sure if it's the phone (Motorolla Cliq XT) or your app but it is next to impossible to click the "show arrivals" link after selecting a stop (the stop "pop-up" just disappears)
Use your location and speed -- e.g., walking or biking -- and bus location and speed to predict how far you can get (which stop) before the bus catches up with you. This maximizes walking and biking, without changing the total travel time.
I would like to be able to tap a bus and set a reminder to beep five or so minutes before arrival.
Show fare information.
Hi, will you be making a version for Symbian ^3? Nokia is releasing some great new smartphones for T-mobile and I just bought an E7 for use with ATT. I love your app, but the web interface is not as handy. Please make an app for Symbian ^3, Maybe in QT? Thanks so much.
Make the site easier to use for those unfamiliar with the area. Seems like you need to know route numbers or specific addresses in order to use the site. I do not live here and only know the name of the city/suburb I want to travel to. I have found this quite frustrating.
I suggest you...take over the entire Metro customer service department since they have their heads up their ass...
Then again...that's not news is it?
Sync up your bus stop numbers with the BusTime numbers on the King County Metro site. It's confusing that they are not the same and the KC Metro numbers are much easier to find via a web search.
Add directions to stop titles in phone app. The full website has the directions in the description text. I got really confused by looking at a stop for the wrong direction. And now that I have added both directions to my Favorites, it's even more confusing.
I use be to able to use the Text version of your site on my Kindle to get bus scheduling but recently you changed the url to start with 'http://aalborg.cs.washington.edu:8005/where/text/...' which no longer works. Could you change the redirect link back to 'http://onebusaway.org/where/text/...'
927 bus route
Why is the phone app giving me stops out of arrival order (i.e., 2 mins, 5 mins, 15 mins, 1 mins, 4 mins, 41 mins (!), 8 mins, etc.
In short, the phone app is broken, and has been for the past few days. Also, it is hard as hell to find your blog/update page from your home page, you need a direct link.
Complaining aside, this is a wonderful service, and I know you work hard to fix things ASAP.
There should be a key to determine what the color of the bus times means. Sometimes they are red, black or blue and I'm not sure what that means.
You should be able to delete a saved search
Add bus fare to the schedule please. Thank you
