The OBA app shows the following as a PT stop: http://pugetsound.onebusaway.org/where/standard/schedule.action?id=3_16127. However this stop does not occur in the PT GTFS downloaded from soundtransit.org, and the pierce transit web site will not plan a trip to this stop, nor does it show this stop on the route map it is supposedly served by, PT 28. This appears to be an invalid stop in the OBA data.
From the list or route map view I'd like to select my stop and then be alerted (sound and/or vibration) when my stop is next so I know when to request a stop.
Great for people new to the area or that daydream on the bus. Never miss your stop again.
Please fix 535 bellevue to lynnwood times as they do not show up. Also please fix the westlake underground station positions of the bus stops as they are not 100% accurate on the map. Maybe add fare prices? And also alerts on downtown traffic or protests going on and what stops are being blocked.
It would be nice to be able to slide the screen to either side and see other stops in the particular transit center or Park and Ride. Ask (preferences) if I do/don't want bus stop # to show. When I have my regular stops identified, and know their #s, then, when weather/GPS not cooperating or etc, I can use phone for OBA answers.
I suggest you...
Add real time (GPS based) arrival info signs at each bus stop on a route (or at least the transit stations). A solar powered, black and white LCD info sign using a cellular transmitted GPS based program like ONE BUS AWAY to provide the real time bus arrival data...
Thank You for OBA
On the bookmark page for stops, could you add the stop # ?
I'm still pretty lo-tech and print out my bookmarks so I can use the (cell)phone calling or texting features to input my stops.
Thanks again ! :-)
Please enhance readability of stop icons on mobile devices (Android). It's nearly impossible to see an icon's directional arrow without zooming way in. This is especially important when opposing direction stops on the same street overlap. Increase both arrow size and color contrast. The web map is easy to read, but the Android version is tough.
