I'm guessing there are many regions besides the Puget Sound region which are served by the OneBusAway platform which has linking non-participating transit systems of which presently are not included in OBA's database. Although I principally use Community Transit, I sometimes use Island County's Island Transit System, as I live near Stanwood which is linked with Island Transit. Island Transit, along with other not ...more »
I think it would be awesome if agencies had a way to let us know through this app, a notification, or some other method that a bus is going to be delayed or not running during a particular trip due to unplanned circumstances (bus broke down, bus was in an accident, etc.). We don't need to know what specifically happened, but it would help us better plan for finding alternative ways to get to where we are going, especially ...more »
OBA currently saves and backup to local storage. When a device is changed, starred stops and profile data must be setup all over again. If OBA saved to the cloud, users could setup once and use everywhere.

I really love this app- I use it every day. Occasionally, I end up needing to reinstall the app due to a restore or something similar for my device. I believe there may be APIs for enabling cloud services to sync data from the app, and I really think getting this going would be great! Not only would this be beneficial for those who need to re-download the app, but additionally useful for those with multiple devices wishing ...more »
I'd like to save bus stops so I can see if the bus is running on time before I get there.
It would be nice to filter by direction. In the morning at the South Kirkland P&R going to downtown, the #255 stops at the same physical location regardless of direction and I really don't need to see the outbound trips at that time.
From the list or route map view I'd like to select my stop and then be alerted (sound and/or vibration) when my stop is next so I know when to request a stop.
Great for people new to the area or that daydream on the bus. Never miss your stop again.
This was a previous function that was very nicely usable when planning a trip. It would be great if it could come back!
I was in every stop window if you scrolled down, it made it very easy to flow to your next stop and see a connecting bus time!
There hasn't been any real time information on route 48 for the past week or two. any reason why it's down?
Is there a way, or could you add one, to change the notification sound?
The "scheduled arrival" tag is a polite way for OBA to say "For whatever reason, we can't tell you just know the actual status of this particular bus." Once you know what it means, this is useful information.
