I noticed a while ago that a #5 bus was apparently running 3 minutes ahead of schedule at N 85th St on Greenwood Ave N. I almost decided that I would miss that bus because it was "running hot" -- which Metro buses are NOT supposed to do, but twice this year I saw them.
But when I got to the bus stop just as the bus was pulling in I realized it was right on time. I think that your data source records when a bus ARRIVES at a time spot, not when it LEAVES.
It would be great if you can verify this and get the system to record when the bus leaves. THEN, if a bus leaves more than a minute ahead of schedule, you altert METRO to this.
I'd appreciate any feedback from you about what I've written: bert.sacks@gmail.com. Thx!
